Bomb threat in Gibson quad

<p>DD says TUPD stormed into her Chem class and said they had to evacuate. All the info I have so far.</p>

<p>Currently it’s just an unconfirmed threat. They cancelled classes on the main academic quad (anything in the vicinity of the building that received the threat). I think they are also trying to get people to not hang around the quad. </p>

<p>No big deal, as far as I can tell.</p>

<p>Tulane University classes in buildings from Freret to St. Charles have been cancelled for the remainder of the day. Until further notice, students, faculty and staff should avoid the Gibson quad area of campus. All campus services and classes continue as normal between Freret and Claiborne and on all other campuses. <p>It is now all clear for students, faculty and staff to enter Tulane campus buildings between Freret and St Charles.</p>

“Early weekend!”</p>

I got a text and an email about the bomb threat. I am also signed up with the TUPD’s site to get info on anything that happens around campus. Thats how I heard about the random arson thing last spring. Little did I know my ds was a victim of it, as the house he just happened to be at that night was the first house struck!</p>
