Have any of you, in any of your classes, thought so sure that you'd get an A, but then let your guards down and totally bombed the final (although I suspect that I'd probably fallen half-asleep, judging from the amount of hours I actually spent studying) and ended up with a lower grade than you'd expected? Yep, I'm still trying to get over mine. Please do share and make me feel better. Much appreciated =]

who hasn’t? lol

I’ve mostly had the opposite happen. Getting higher grade than expected after final.

I got a D in an accounting class, back in the day. Nonetheless, I went on to get my degree in Bus Admin (accounting concentration!), and have had a successful career and adult life.

It’s not the end of the world. Think of it as a wake-up call. What’s important is that you figure out what happened, and then figure out how to prevent it from happening again. That’s what life’s about – course corrections. :-)

If you fail the final you just wasted hundreds of dollars being dumb way to go!

Had it happen…I had an A in two courses until the final, then screwed both finals, and ended up with B+'s

omg haru07, same here!

I had an high A in one class, bombed the final, and ended up with a B+ =(

Had an A+ in this writing class, and then ended up with an A- because of the last paper

it happened to me three times in two years - i guess i’m not a finals person. it really sucks!

I’ve gotten 4 D’s on my transcript. 3 are from accounting courses which is my major and the other is from a finance course. I’m betting on passing the CPA before the end of next year so I can make up for these poor grades. What do you guys think about that?
