I failed my SAT (first try) and got 1750. I want to try get to 2200+ next time
I have a 3.5 gpa from alot of AP and honors classes

I am contemplating on this because during the next semester I have many classes to take and committed to a varsity sport. I don't want to take May's one because I have subject tests, final exams, and AP exams.

Should I take my next SAT January, or March?
And what kind of colleges can I get into given 1750 or 2200+?
Can I get into any prestigious university with only one commitment to my sport that I have played for a while?

Are you a freshman, sophomore, or junior? Do you have other ECs? What level of prestige are you looking for? Are you being recruited?

Why not the June SAT? Or maybe take the ACT instead? I know it’ll be another thing to study for with the APs, finals, and SAT subject tests, but you’ll have the most time to prepare for it and what you’re aiming for seems a bit outlandish to accomplish in a month or two if you take it closer to the beginning of the year. In reference to your ECs, I’d recommend you join a few clubs or engage in a summer program in something you really like. I also HIGHLY suggest that you do your best to get your GPA up, as most candidates for top tier universities like to see candidates with at least a 3.7 or 3.8 unweighted GPA. And finally, if you think you “failed” the SAT, no you didn’t. Is a 1750 spectacular? No, but it gives you something to work with.
