Good luck to everyone about to take the AP French exam!

Who else is gonna die?

Moi! Et merci…mais je pense que c’est tres…hopeless. ;D

Je vais crever dans cinq minutes :(

Je mourai en deux heure…

je l’ai fini! donc je mangerai et endormirai.

soooo what did you guys think???

Mon ami a dit qu’il etait tres facile mais, il est ne en France.

I loved the entire second half, but not so much the reading/listening.

I thought the reading was pretty difficult. Listening was okay. Essay was easy. Speaking was average but I messed up… How many can we miss to get a 5?

J’ai aim

Je pense que la discussion sp

Can’t discuss the essay yet.

The first half utterly raped me, I liked the writing part, and I was so tired by the speaking that I sort of gave up. I’m probably getting that 3, but still hoping for that 4…

Not as tired as I expected to be at the end…gah, the listening part was so difficult for me since it’s hard for me to listen in plain English. My teacher definitely screwed up the AP kids this year…for the second year in a row. The only part I felt okay on was the fill-in the-verbs section, but I do poorly on those no matter what.

And the speaking! GAH! I didn’t even read the second question, just kept muttering whatever I had left from the question before.

Je suck.

Someone on another thread said getting a 5 requires 78%…anyone have the composite numbers chart thingy?

So I definitely think I bombed the MC too.
It was totally hard and I got distracted during the dialogues too easily.

listening was okay for the most part
the reading comprehension MC was okay, but the last passage was really hard

grammar fill-ins were REALLY easy
verb fill-ins were pretty easy

i liked the essay prompt

but i FAILED the speaking. i think i bombed both 2&3

did you guys also have a problem with your listening tape? for us i think numbers 2-5 on the exchanges were one after another… no 12 sec pause! and we didnt get to go back! our AP coordinator is going to leave a note of CB. but that totally ruined my whole listening. i dont even think I can get a 4 let alone a 5! damn lstening was supposed to boost me a bit. and i failed speaking. writing and essay were good, reading was OK.

yeah! a similar thing happened to me. several of the first listening questions seemed like they didn’t have a reading pause between them. so I just kind of left them blank.

yup, listening was messed up on the track. collegeboard will probably end up not scoring those questions (that’s my guess). apparently they are taking “full responsibility” from what i heard (a friend’s teacher called collegeboard already). bonne chance everyone, i thought it was pretty tough. oh, and also: you can’t say what you need in order to get a 5, since one exam is scored against all of the other exams. it varies from year to year.

I thought the dialogues were difficult, but that was it. Even the finish-the-conversation listening questions were easy. The free response was about average, the reading comprehension was easy, essay was easy, and the speaking was easy. Overall I thought it was easier than the practice exams I had taken (one from Barron’s and the 2003 released exam).

omg the rapid fire questions was a collegeboard mistake? that’s a relief-- i was super freaking out like wth wth they just finished saying one question and then they’re like “Question 3”!! fewwwwf

but overall yeah listening was weird for me, and reading comp just went over my head. writing was like -_- thanks a lot, and speaking i think i did semi-okay, like decent, nothing amazing (i think i only used like present tense…) but i think i got at least a 3, so i guess i’m semi okay… sad since i was aiming for a 5 though…
