Bonner Scholarship At Spelman/ Alternatives

I am a senior in high school and have applied to Spelman under Early Decision. I know that I would love to be able to go but the cost would be a problem. I'm hoping to apply for the Bonner Scholarship if I get accepted. I've volunteered at a Teen Court program since 2009, helping adolescents to change their lives around. With those hours (around 250) and my Key Club hours (maybe 125 or 150), I'm hoping to qualify. I've also written and published two novelettes. I was also wondering about alternative merit scholarships. My GPA isn't the highest but almost anything would help.
