Book Exchange?

<p>Hey, all!</p>

<p>Starting Film/TV at Tisch in the upcoming fall, and I was wondering regarding textbooks if there is any book exchange going on at NYU, and if so, when and where it takes place. It seems a little silly to me to invest in (expensive) brand new textbooks when I can make due perfectly well with used ones. So, if anyone has any info about a book exchange going on, I'd like to know about it!</p>

<p>I don’t know about Book Exchanges, but if you just want to buy your books used online, there’s this great website [url=&lt;a href=“http://allbookstores.com%5Dhere%5B/url”&gt;http://allbookstores.com]here[/url</a>], called AllBookstores, that compares the prices of used books from all different sites so you can find the cheapest ones.</p>

<p>There is a book exchange store on 8th street I believe it is. it’s just around the corner from Hayden.</p>

<p>Can anybody tell me where I can look and find my textbook requirements for the upcoming semester? I remember it was somewhere on NYU Home (I think…), but I just can’t find it anywhere!</p>

<p>Thanks for the book list, very helpful! I see that the NYU bookstore also sells used books as well… I’ve already managed to find some good deals on some of these books on the amazon user market. However, there are a couple of books that I just can’t find the exact ISBN anywhere else, though I’ve found the same books with the same title. Do you think it would be alright to get these books elsewhere? Or should I stick to the specific ISBN the NY bookstore has?</p>
