Book guides for a self-studier

I'll be self-studying AP Euro and AP Art History next year, and taking courses in Micro/Macro, APES, both Govs, and English Lit.

Here are the books I'm thinking of getting so far:

AP Euro (self): Modern European History
AP Art History (self): The Annotated Mona Lisa
AP Econ: ?
APES: ?
AP Gov (both): Ethel Woods's book for Comp, but what about US Gov?
AP Lit: ?

What would you recommend?

APES: Princeton Review.

AP Euro: AP Achiever/Princeton Review + Crash Course

jerrry4445, I’ve never seen AP Achiever in stores. Is it perhaps one of the older study guides?

AP Achiever is not an old study guide. The only place you can buy it is at amazon.com.

AP Euro (self): PR + Crash Course
AP Art History (self): The Annotated Mona Lisa + Barron’s Art History
AP Econ: PR
APES: PR
AP US Gov: PR + Crash Course (SERIOUSLY THE BEST)
AP Comp. Gov: Ethel Wood’s Guide (Good enough)

Thanks.

082349, I’ve heard of people talking about 5 Steps for Econ as well. I had it for APWH and it wasn’t that great. Do you know anything about it?

Also, what would anyone recommend for AP Lit?

Barron’s is nowhere near as good a study guide for Art History as is REA.

REA was good for French, too. Is REA for Art more detailed overall or does it simply cover topics that were not touched upon as much as in Barron’s?
