For the SAT II's i was considering taking chemistry, math II or maybe US History. I'm also taking the AP Exam for chem and APUSH. Regarding the book choices for chem, most people here recommend PR and Barron's. Do I have to buy a barron's book for AP chem and a barron's for SAT II chem or is there one that i can use for both?

the AP exam and SAT for chem are pretty different in format and the types of questions they ask. i know people who got 5's on the AP but still got about a 730-750ish on chem (don't get me wrong, that is still a very good score :o).

IMO, i would get a book for the AP and SAT II. and i agree with the others: PR and barron's.

PR is good, but I haven't checked out Barron's yet. I would recommend CollegeBoard, since it has actual practice questions written by the test makers

Do not buy an AP Chem book for SATII prep. CB has a US history booklet with 2 real exams (I think it includes World as well) so get that if you can (honestly, i don't know how else you would prepare for this besides reading sparknotes).

Actually, just get the real SATII book, take all 3 tests, and then use sparknotes for the studying. Assuming that you are proficient in these subjects, you probably won't need to read that much on spark.
