Book shipping

Normally I'd be calling res life on this matter but seeing as how it's saturday... yeah

anyways, i was wondering if we can buy books online and have them SHIPPED to our UCSD mail address. Since I am an incoming sophomore, I was wondering if my freshmen mailbox # is still valid because I do not want to carry too many heavy books down to school seeing as how I am flying and carrying a lot of other stuff already.

thanks!

On another note, did anyone find the psyc 1 book by Lilenfield online?

yes IN THEORY your old mailing address is still the same one. (things can change)

i don’ think they’ll hold your mail for you unless it gets there during welcome week. you should just buy the book a week before classes start and ship them down, or buy it when school starts and borrow the book from the library or friends until then.

No packages will be accepted until the 21st. So if you want to do that, you’re going to have to order your books later

thanks

yeah I read somewhere after we moved out (june 16th or whatever day it was) all incoming mail would be forwarded to our permanent addresses.

not trying to be overkill here but I think it’s a bad idea to mail anything.

you also get a different mail box # each year, and theyve changed all the numbers on campus to accommodate more boxes in the future (new muir housing/transfer housing/deptmnts)
