My cousin came over to my house and gave me the book, "Of Mice and Men". I read it and studied it and wow, was I blown away. I cried at the end and realized many things about life. Are there any other books that is like Of Mice and Men? I don't know. I started to read books by Steinbeck but I think of mice and men was a masterpiece. Any suggestions?

Try A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving

If you liked Of Mice and Men (and thereby Steinbeck's writing style), read The Grapes of Wrath (also by Steinbeck). It's a really hard read for like, the first 100 pages...but it's stunning. It's heartbreaking. I think it's better than Of Mice and Men because it explores the human experience in more dimensions and with such spectacular prose.

Personally I hated John Steinbeck, though I did enjoy Of Mice and Men. All the other books I read by him (Grapes of Wrath, Cannery Row, and the Pearl) just did not do it for me. A few books to consider that I always had a similer feel to Of Mice and Men would be The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye, and The Day of the Locust.

Good luck.

i like east of eden -lengthy but good - steinbeck's ooks are good
