"List the books you have read in the past year for school or leisure. Place an asterisk by those books required for classes you have taken."

Are you including (or do you suggest including) textbooks from school, magazines read, and *this is my main question embarrassing/easy reads?
My guess is probably not for any of them, but it's a fine line for the last one!?

Note: Davidson really wants to know about you as a person so if you feel those types of writing appeal to you go for it. Also I personally would list more than 40 just as rule of thumb.

thanks! i agree about them wanting to get to know you, which i love!
so include textbooks? and you didn’t do 40, or did you just post a sample of your list?

Sorry about the late response but yes you can - and I personally encourage - you to but in that case just put specific chapters and pages to the side as people do not realistically read entire textbooks. Also I made a typo and meant to say no more than forty and that is my entire list. I hope you are applying ED I tonight.

This is only for the past year though right? Personally, I’m not much of a reader, but do people really read more than 10 books just for school? It would make sense if you were taking like 4 English classes, but I generally only have 4-5 books per year per class.
