Booking Airfare

Many of my friends are booking their airfare early in attempt to avoid price hikes. Is this a smart decision? Is it better to wait for the prices to decrease (I will be leaving in September)? Thank you!

Cheap Flights, Airfare, Airline Tickets, Cheap Travel = amazingness

thank you so much!

I need some advice on my D's moving to college. We live in the west coast. I know that the move-in date is Sept. 6 for H, but how early students ususally gets there? It may depends on the family's situation, but is there any urgent reason to be there early, like late August, or just arrive there a night before the 6th is ok?

We also live on the West Coast. When we've traveled East for college tours and summer programs, we have been surprised by what an impact the three hour time difference makes. What sounds like a reasonable 9am start is then a 6am start for her body clock.
I've started adding an extra day in advance (we sleep in and then sightsee on that day) so that my daughter doesn't start out groggy on the first day.
