Boy in the Striped Pajamas (but let’s be real, even the trailer made me cry)
Schindler’s List (the Ofyn Pripitchek montage of the girl in the red coat)
Diary of Anne Frank

The one song that makes me cry is one my grandfather used to sing to us. He died last month.

Beast of No Nations, Of Mice and Men, do video games count? If so pokemon mystery dungeon blue rescue team, and Persona 3. Oh and some Tyler Perry movies lol

The end of Godfather Part 3, the scene with all of his memories after his daughter dies. So sad… And The Green Mile and Forrest Gump. Damn you Tom Hanks…

Life is Beautiful. It’s an Italian film, but you could easily find it in English. It’s about a Jewish man who wins the heart of a wealthy Italian woman during WWII. They have a child and lead a happy life until they are detained in a concentration camp. It is a brilliant movie because it keeps a lighthearted sense of humor throughout the rather dark film. The movie is even more heart-breaking because it is a true story of the couple and child as depicted in the movie. I can’t think of another movie, book, or song that had me crying and laughing, often at the same time

I cried incessantly over Atonement (film). She finally loved someone and then he just died. Like right in front of her. And half the movie was her imagination D:

The Notebook. No matter how many times I watch it I can help crying.

A book that made me cry would be Harry potter and the deathly hallows. When Harry get sirius’s memory and finds out that Sirius was a good guy all this time and how he loved his mom…omg I balled my eyes out.

Yes, yes, a million times yes. This movie is so…perfect! But for the love of God, DO NOT WATCH IT WITH ENGLISH DUBBING. It becomes cheap and loses the magnificence with cheesy dubs. Read the English subtitles and have a greater movie experience.

The last episode of Blackadder Goes Forth, Goodbyeee, always gets me crying, even though most of it’s comedy. Wrote an english assesment about it last week because of that actually. It’s the only tragi-comedy I know, actually.

All I can think of is The Boy In The Striped Pajamas (the movie). My friend spoiled it for me like 10 minutes in, but the ending was just…god. Not even just the ending, but the whole movie is gloomy.
