Okay, I ordered and received a package of books for physics 7A, and (despite there being a very clear label on the sealed pakage that stated it could not be returned if opened), in a fever of misplaced enthusiasm, I opened it. Now, of course, I find I won't be using it. Do you think I can sell back the books to the bookstore at the end of the semester? Or will I be able to sell it when I get up there? (it's the online access code they are concerned about when they say they won't buy it back).

How much did you pay for it?

It was $97 from the cal student store.

I'm assuming you don't need it because you're no longer taking the class? In which case you can always sell it to another student.

How would I do this? Post the info on a bulletin board at Berkeley? Just ask around at the dorms? Lurk outside the first class and flash open my raincoat to reveal the physics text to those hoping to add the class?

Advertise it using stuff like Facebook, Craig's List, ComeGetUsed, and word of mouth around the dorm.
