i am going study AP economics on my own. What's the best book for preparation. Also could you recommend some textbooks, not prep books.</p>
<p>I heard that Cracking the AP economics is a very good prep book if you are using it to supplement the McConnell textbook.</p>

<p>I self-studied microeconomics (took a macroeconomics course) and found that Barron's was the best for self-study. PR is good for review.</p>

<p>McConnell is the best! It is easy to understand and i think it is also the best selling microecon book in the world.</p>
<p>I haven't read McConnell's microeconomics text, but I don't think it's better than Mankiw's.</p>
