Books for Critical Reading

Please recommend books for critical reading and SAT II.

Yes, CR. I need to raise my 410 by 200 points in 5 months.

what kind of question is this
any form of reading is helpful
do you think there are certain books that help on the sat?

for you i recommend dr. seuss the cat in the hat

all right, one of the toughest books i ve had to analyze in the past few months was joseph conrad's heart of darkness. i don't know how driven you are but i know that if you actually understood and analyzed some of it, it would help a 410 score.

i think he meant prep books... so try Gramatixx or Rocket Review

You're pretty rude...

but uhh...yeah...any reading is good, as long as it's at or above your level.

on second thought try these they are a lot easier - native son by richard wright or invisible man by ralph ellison or the poisonwood bible by barbara kingsolver

Satanic Monkey:

The thread is under Tests and Test Prep. So what do you think the question is related to? Obviously you have not clue. If you have no idea what question is being asked, I suggest you go back to kindergarden. On second thought, pre-school may be more appropriate.

If you have no contribution to give people who ask for suggestions and help, keep to yourself and do not make a mockery of this forum. There is no place for kids like you.

How good is rocket review? I've tried grammatix but it didn't really help a lot....

I have no idea I've alonly used Gramatixx, I think the CR tactics were actually pretty good, Math looks weak, Writing I only went through the essay part so far.

So far I have a Kaplan book (dont even touch), SAT Blue Book and Gramatixx I might get Rocket Review to help me on math

What's the difference between the old RR and new RR?

Hey davhu1 stay smart.

Satantic I think your the one in the fault here, you misintrepreted a thread and then insulted the author of it. Just apologize and move on

is grammatix worth the 50 bux?
