Does anyone know which edition it uses? Also how necessary were the web assign/guide thing that's supposed to come with the book? I'm buying it used from a third party and I'm not sure if it comes with the web assignment.

^I believe you’ll need the web assign for the homework. At least thats how it was for him last year. Also the other physics 7c class for this quarter also uses web assign for homework which goes towards your grade.

Also the edition is the 7th edition.

Thanks, and do you know if the web thing is called Cengage or something like that?

I believe this is it:

[WebAssign - Physics for Scientists and Engineers 7th edition](http://www.webassign.net/features/textbooks/serpse7/details.html)

Ah, I see. It looks like it says you can buy the access card separately. Do you know if our bookstore sells the access card specifically? Last quarter for writing there was an access card thing we had to purchase but it was McGraw-Hill I think.

^Hmmm i am not sure but i am pretty sure that if you buy it online at that website then you get the access code instantly if that is what you are concerned about…

That works too, I guess I should get multi-term since I’m taking two quarters of physics?

That would be ideal.
