<p>Can anyone recommend me a book that specifically prepares you for each separate section of the SAT test? A book that is effective in increasing your score on the verbal, math, and writing section? Thanks in advance. especially the reading, because I did horrible on my last test.</p>

<p>Barron's Critical Reading Workbook
Princeton Review's 11 SATs (I know this is for all the sections, but it's fairly good for the CR section alone)</p>
<p>For the Math section:</p>
<p>Barron's Math Workbook
McGraw-Hill's SAT Math Workbook
Gruber's SAT (for the practice Math sections and some of the content in the beginning)
Kaplan's SAT 2400 (the math chapters)</p>
<p>For the Writing section:</p>
<p>Barron's Writing Workbook
Princeton Review's 11 SATs (again, good for Writing, too -- this book is NOT good for the Math sections)
Gruber's SAT (the Writing questions are a little strange, but can be good practice nonetheless)</p>

<p>RocketReview Revolution
Maximum SAT
Kaplan's SAT 2400
Barron's SAT 2400 (the Math coverage is a little weak, though)
CB SAT Study Guide ("Blue Book") (for the practice, of course)</p>

<p>CB SAT Online Course (use the Online Tests available -- they are excellent if you want challenging questions)</p>
