<p>Have you read any books regarding how to write college essays?
and if you have, what book(s) have you read? </p>
<p>Are they helpful? Which book do you think is the best?</p>
<p>I have checked out a few. One of them, I think, was from collegeboard. Another was a book of 50 outstanding essays (this one really intimidated me and probably actually steered me in the wrong direction and slowed down my process.</p>

<p>BARRON’S ESSAYS THAT WILL GET YOU INTO COLLEGE.</p>
<p>I loved it. It walks you through the process and shows you lots of sample essays around the way. It points out pros and cons of different essays and strategies. It includes 50 essays, some good, some somewhat weak (but the students still got in).
This is the book that got my essay (that I had been drafting, trashing, and restarting for months) written. I absolutely recommend it.</p>
