I've found quite a few interesting scholarships on some not-so-famous search engines, and I think there should be some really nice ones in the books on scholarships. I bought a couple of them last year:
The first one was "The Scholarship Book: The Complete Guide to Private-Sector Scholarships, Fellowships, Grants, and Loans for the Undergraduate with CDROM" (am I allowed to post links in here?).
It was full of decent material and I found some scholarships that I was eligible for (not a citizen, straight young white male, don't belong to any major minorities... :-/). The CD that went with it was an utter disappointment - it had all the scholarships from the book put together in some archaic system.

I regretted buying the second book the moment I opened it. "The Scholarship Scouting Report: An Insider's Guide to America's Best Scholarships" by Kaplan was oriented mostly at high-school seniors, and didn't have that much info in it - no more than 50 scholarships...

A new book came out on August 2, 2005 - "Scholarship Handbook 2006 (College Board Scholarship Handbook)," and it seems to have a lot of potential. :-) First of all, it just came out, and thus contains the most up-to-date information, and secondly, it was published by the College Board itself. Now, it may end up being a complete disappointment, but I have my hopes high. ^_^ I bought one online, and it'll be waiting for me at my school by time I get there. Has anybody here bought it yet? Are there any other good books on scholarships you would recommend?
