Books you can't imagine your success without

PR’s math workbook raised my score from a 560 (!)–> 700 (and I think I got a 750 on the Nov SAT yesterday)

The Blue Book. And also DH which I just recently picked up.

Barron`s is great for Math.It reviewes everything you need to know and the problems are harder than the real thing.

I completely agree with Ivan, but the problem is I did all the practice tests in Barrons but I still did at least 2 really stupid mistakes in math! Why, oh why…?

just wondering… does anyone know what OC and QAS stand for??

@iuileb
well the reason depends on what kind of mistakes you make… i mean…I often choose, what they call them, ‘partial answers’… so i know i need to check back on What Exactly the question asks several times to pick the right answer…=_=

@sil0725
QAS - question and answer service, nah? the only thing that comes to my mind…

And OC for Orange County in California! Yay!:D

is an older version of teh barrons verbal book good enough? its the 2006 version

OC: Online Course
QAS: Question and Answer Service.

where can you get QAS?? can you get QAS of recent test like in OCt?

The Harry Potter series. its an indirect study guide for the writing section.

@cc3c: I used the 2005 edition and it was still a great help.There are plenty of practice exercises inside the book and the writing portion of the book when used in combination with sparknotes is really helpful.

the Bible.

thanks ccprofile! im glad to hear it!

The blue book and the gruber’s study guide… with those two I got a 2380

Juanmarco is so adorable ^^ 2380 is the score I probably never dare dream of ^^. Anyway I intend to take a gap year, so I’ll be of class 2014. I’ll take the Sat in Dec 08, Juan 09 and probably Oct 09 :-ss God bless me!

Btw, you guys used the Blue book over and over again. Yeah it helps you review mistakes but does it matter that you are too used to the tests in the book that the scores dont reflect exactly how well you do the tests? => my biggest wonder ^^

Wow, I didnt know DH is that much helpful. I’ll try to chew all the words that DH has to offer ^^.

God bless those who are gonna take SatI this Dec ^^
Score high everyone!

The Kama Sutra, and I got a 2400

^The Canterbury Tales :)

But seriously, check out RocketReview, got a 2100 first time using that and BB.

the guy who wrote cracking the SAT also wrote RR… then why you all say RR is so much better than PR?

JuanMarco ,did you study the Gruber`s vocabulary list?
