Books you can't imagine your success without

I used this amazing preparation book called PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE

i used PR mostly (though i own a plethora of other books) and I got a 2100, a score which i was ecstatic with

I used Grubers and Barrons for math, the BB, and McGraw hill for writing.
My Math went up 70 points and my writing went up 100 points. My reading stayed about the same (i don’t think you can study for CR).

@ Poseur: you’re funny.

For me, Rocket Review, BB <- of course.

Harry Potter is a demonstration of everything you don’t want in writing.

Blue Book and SparkNotes, actually. Went from a 201 PSAT to a 2280 SAT.

I disagree. In that book, there are many great themes and examples that you can elicit, aren’t there?

Well, glutter is several minutes quicker than I ^^
By “that book”, I mean Harry Potter series btw

Oh, actually, I had to let Poseur borrow my PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE book and that’s why I did so poorly in my life… for some reason [I don’t know, I must be crazy or something…] I decided to buy all these prep books or something! And rely on them! They so screwed me over.

Barrons 2400 is what got me an 800 in math

Yes, but Rowling’s writing style is terrible.

^ People don’t pick up Harry Potter and say “Hey! I’m in the mood for a great writing style!” God forbid anyone read for entertainment.

i’ve been wondering which book is best

i have used the blue book/barrons book/grubers/kaplan/princeton review

i got 2180 on my oct s.a.t
