<p>Hey, i'm very confused on the books. Do we have to get the package ones? like the ones that come with the cd? Amazon has the books much cheaper but most of them dont come with a cd. should i just buy the book?</p>

PKG-CALCULUS W/ CD/SINGLE VARIABLE SOLUTIONS MANUAL,

<p>are these two the same? one just has more stuff (custom/PBK) whatever that is. DO we have to get both.. or either one?</p>

<p>I think it's only one; I'm not sure but I think the difference between the two is that one is paperback and the other one is hardcover.</p>

<p>Hey, the books that will be used for some of my classes don't have an ISBN # so that means i can't buy it online, so does that mean those books were only made for UCI students and staff to use? </p>

<p>Also, my chem 1a class only shows one book thats optional, does that mean u dont need any book for that class? I hate studying from lectures i'd rather have a book to help me, so do you think the teacher will add more books to the list later?</p>

<p>btw, go to anteaterforum.com for anything UCI related including buying/selling books, it's more active there</p>

<p>Could someone shed some light on why all the chemistry 1A classes this year are only requiring a student's solutions manual to be purchased?</p>

<p>I have a question, on the UCI bookstore website they only give you the name of the book and the author, no editions or picture, so say for the bio 93 book it says </p>

<p>BIOLOGY 93 CUSTOM (SELECTED CHAPTERS),
CAMPBELL
REQUIRED</p>

<p>so does that mean the book should say biology 93? Some pll are looking for the green book that says biology 6th edition and some are looking for the 7th edition, and some even have ISBN numbers, but isn't it custom made for UCI? i want to buy the books beforehand but i'm afraid i might get the wrong book can someone help me?</p>
