Books?????

I am planning on taking these ap's this year....can you guys recommend me the best preparation for them....i am the the smartest person in my class...so i need high grades...i typically get 2 and 3 on these tests...here it is

AP English Literature and Composition
AP Biology ( I bought the Cliffs book already.... Do i need more than that)
AP Government and Politics ( the regular one...not the comparative one)
AP Macroeconomics
AP Calculus BC

Thanks...i really want to do well on these..thanks....of course..i am aiming for a 5....but we'll c....

Calc - barrons
gov - barrons

Macro - maybe barrons (this isn't a very strong recommendation, though - the first two are)
ENg Lit - petersons (again not a strong recommendation)

Bio - cliffs, rea (good tests)

get PR for AP gov't...I have it, and it's really great.

Here is what I can tell you, I've taken all of those and got 5s except in English.

AP Biology - Used Cliffs. Barrons as extra practice since teacher wasn't good

AP Government and Politics - Barrons, but teacher prepared us well

AP Macroeconomics - Princeton Review. Take all the FR questions, get a feel for them. They are standard questions for the most part, not too creative except near the end. GDP is your big focus here.

AP Calculus BC - Try to get your hands on as many released MC and FR as you can. (Luckily my teacher has been teaching this subject since the AP exam came out :P). But I did this as an independent study and I got a 5 by literally just taking about 5-6 practice MC tests and doing the FR questions. (Honestly I didn't learn the material very well though, which is kind of bad). I used the Arco book, the author is very good.

What else, if your really worried about Calc BC or you really want to secure that 5, find some online practice tests from colleges. Here is one from MIT
MIT OpenCourseWare | Mathematics | 18.01 Single Variable Calculus, Fall 2005 | Exams. Do this in the beginning after your done learning the material. For the AP you want to get in their mindset by doing all AP official released practice tests before the exam.

You can try searching on google (site:edu) for other calculus/econ college classes with practice exams or try this site Learn Within - Links . My philosophy is "practice practice practice" and if you can especially with the official AP exams.
