Does anyone have experience with either of the two off campus bookstores? They gave away free tshirts at NSO along with info on ordering books by just giving them the schedule of classes and the books would be ready upon arrival...sounds too good to be true! Thoughts?

I was going to post the same thing. I really liked the people in Liebermans(sp?) and was thinking of going that way. I hope some wiser folks have experience to share.

My son has had good experiences with both. And yes, you give your schedule and they will package the books for pickup. The prices are similar, it varies a little from book to book, but on average it’s pretty close. If you do Freshman Fest, they will pickup the books for you (I think it was at the book exchange) and have them at the hillel.

He sells them back to the UD bookstore. He seems to think you get better prices there, and the earlier you sell them back, the higher the price (this according to my son).

Daughter uses Lieberman’s they always had the used versions to save on money one Engineering text book can be over $300 brand new. She has had very good results selling her books herself on amazon, way higher than what the book stores will give. $290 versus $95 one semester.

Go to Lieberman’s, their prices are like 99% of the time cheaper. You could also look online, but a lot of the time a course has a special UD edition of the text that is only available at campus bookstores.

We just pre-ordered from Lieberman’s. Got all used books. I’m pretty happy.

^Based on the schedule from NSO? I thought it wasn’t official until Aug 2.

That’s what I thought… we are waiting till Aug 2.

My D’s major has pretty specific classes to it, so she was told it would be final as soon as the colloquia or English was up because there really aren’t many choices.

Also, when you order at Lieberman’s and I think the school bookstore, you can make whatever changes you need until you pick up the books.
