First time taking SATs: 670 V, 520 M, 710 W

Second time: 700 V, 560 M, 710 W

So, yay my verbal and math went up. But I REALLY want my math to hit at least 600. The school of my dreams (William and Mary) has a 1260-1340 median I believe. And I'm also looking at Wesleyan soo .. yeah, gotta boost that math. If I could boost my math .. and maybe my others a bit too .. I think I'd be a little more confident in myself.

Any tips on how to boost math scores? xD

Both times I took the test, I did not study or prepare at all. So I'm thinking if I get a few books, take some practice tests, etc I could do a little better! Any suggestions for books, etc?

Math is probably the easiest to improve. I believe that Gruber's (correct me if I'm wrong anybody) is the best for math.

Just practice. Doesn't matter what book you use. The more you practice the better you get at figuring out how to answer the questions. Probably the Official SAT Study Guide (the blue book) would work, as it's directly from CB and has similar problems to the SAT math, seeing how it came from the test makers themselves.

try to go over ur mistakes.
learn easier ways to solve probs.
learn and experience new types or problems.

Practice a lot. recognize the patterns in the questions and the types of questions that appear repeatedly. Make sure you read the math questions carefully and answer the question. The SAT has a habit of tricking careless people who don't read the questions carefully.
