<p>I am a sophomore in highschool and received a 34 on the ACT my first time taking it. I didn't prepare very much and still want to raise my 34 to a 36.</p>

33 Math
33 Reading

<p>I should have no problem with math but wish to raise my English/Reading scores. What is the best method of doing this when I retake the test next (junior year)?</p>
<p>I also got an 8 on my writing, how can I improve this? I assume taking AP Lang will help this but I still want to raise it more than Lang will alone.</p>
<p>Also: Realistically, how "good" is a score of 34? Thank you.</p>
