Borderline Applicant decision

I applied 3 weeks ago and am waiting to hear a decision! I check a few times a day! I am wondering if anybody knows how long they keep the borderline applicants waiting. I know that top applicants are being accepted right away, but I was wondering if any applicants have been denied yet, or does admissions just hold of the denial until December 15th.

If they decide someone is definitely not going to be admitted, they would tell them right away I am sure. You say you applied 3 weeks ago, but was your application complete 3 weeks ago? In other words, did they definitely have everything from your high school and your test scores? Even if the answer is yes, 3 weeks not that long. Again, some of the admissions counselors were traveling.

Yes, application was complete three weeks ago…I understand why it is taking time, but a few of my friends have gotten in 3 or 4 weeks after applying.

But that means they applied earlier, and as the other threads have pointed out that was to their advantage. But if you have what it takes to get admitted you will probably hear soon.

I’m in the same boat as you. It’s sad to see some of the accepted posts saying that Tulane was just a safety school. It’s so nerve wracking to hear everybody else’s admission decision, yet not having one of your own.
