I haven’t learned a thing in this class. I knew this all by about, 8th grade, maybe late 7th out of curiosity.

I’m having a hard time understanding how you could possibly infer any of that from my post. I thought it was quite obvious that I was referring to his taking Algebra II as a Sophomore rather than taking Algebra II in general.

That’s great. Out of curiosity, what did you get on the AMC?

Never took it, sadly. The snow in my state cancelled it this year, and my school never repaid.

I was practicing a lot for it as well.

Well there’s the AMC12B obviously for these precise reasons. You didn’t take that?

And lol, I would have thought for someone of your caliber you wouldn’t have needed to practice.

Yeah, we were out on the 24th because of snow as well. And my school didn’t pay for the 12B sadly.

I’m smart and good at math by nature, but practice is a good measure I use for tests I never took.

Uhh: <a href=“American Mathematics Competitions | Mathematical Association of America”>American Mathematics Competitions | Mathematical Association of America;

It’s probably a good idea to practice if you want to qualify and do decently on USAMO.

The closest one to me, George Mason, is a good 1-2 hours away. My parents don’t feel like driving me on a Wednesday to take a test. They don’t deem it “necessary”.

Sounds like nice jogging distance.

Well you don’t really need to for the AMC.

But I guess some people plan ahead.

And that sucks. gl next year! You’ll definitely make MOP if you’re as intelligent as you appear. :)

I hope to do so. Gonna work hard, because talent alone isn’t enough for this.
