<p>To all current BC students:</p>

<p>I heard there is less pressure to get along with your roommate if u are randomly assigned vs the roommate you picked and requested on the Agora portal.</p>

<p>Since Facebook, the roommate questionnaire, and other things skew the personality of ur potential roommate, ur eventual rooming buddy might be completely different from u.</p>

<p>and since u picked each other, there is unnecessary tension?</p>

<p>is it just better to let BC randomly pick for u?</p>

<p>Definitely go random. Some kids will room with friends from home or kids they meet at orientation, but the majority goes random. It usually works out fine.</p>

<p>There’s downside to either. The only thing I’d highly recommend is that you DO NOT room with someone you know from high school. It only hinders the process of making friends at BC.</p>
