Boston College & Boston University - Comfortablly Reaching?

The title puts it as pretentiously I could have. Anyways, my general “stats” are as follows…

  • Composite SAT: 2110 / 1410 (Math - 680, Crit Reading - 730, Writing - 700)
  • SAT Subject Tests: Math II, Bio E
  • GPA (weighted): 100.3 (~4.0)
  • GPA (unweighted - currently an approximation): ~93/94 (3.75?)
  • Rank: Top 10%, Possibly 5% (Soon to find out)
  • EC: 100+ (may want to recount) service hrs mostly between two organizations (FBLA and NHS) and some other local stuff
  • Soccer, too, but "eh". (I also fancy personal writings, which I'll mention if I can)
  • Also, 4 leadership positions between the two aforementioned groups (committee member to Webmaster, and Historian/Webmaster, respectively)
  • Some Nice "Honors", I suppose (Nat'l Hispanic Recognition Program, AP Scholar, NHS membership, I guess)
  • APs (all HN classes before then):
    • English Lang: 5
    • US History: 4
    • Calc AB: 3
    • Chem: 2
    • Comp Sci A: 2
  • I'm taking another six/seven exams, which'll be noted, albeit kind of pointlessly, in the common app.
  • Background: Middle-class Hispanic male from Jersey; Some aid is expected, along with lots of scholarship applications. ** Plus, I'm applying early (non-committal) to BC, if that helps. (EDIT: To the Education School, if that makes a difference)

These are my decided “reach” schools and frankly, the comforting typeface of an internet stranger telling me I’ll be alright would be welcome right now.

Moreover, how supportive are BU and BC financially? I’ve heard positive things about them both, but that’s the last bit of assurance I need for the next while. Thanks in advance, of course.

***(The rest of my current “absolutely-likely-to-be-applying-to-until-I-cut-back-a-bit” list include Allegheny, Lafayette, LaSalle, UConn, UoNH and three surefire in-state schools (NJ), if anyone has anything to share regarding those.)

Yknow what? For my sake, assume that the unweighted is lower than that. Say, 3.6. Thanks again.
