Your SAT is a bit weak.

However, your rank will help you out.

I don't know.

"5.9192 weighted" Holy God! Your GPA is 150% that of my Val!

Thanks.... I guess taking 11 AP classes throughout HS payed off....
I don't know though if that is enough to overshadow mediocre SAT scores???
Anyone know whether everything else is good enough to make them look past test scores???
Thanks!!

You're from Florida. That helps. You seem like the average candidate that applies to BC. Stellar credentials, but nothing outstanding. You have a decent shot. Good luck.

only thing hurting you is your sat's, which aren't terrible but could be better. you definitely have a very good chance with your gpa, rank, ec's, recs and location.

It's kind of hard to know for sure. I go to a local school and got into BC with a 2.9 GPA (my school is REALLY difficult) and a 2060 on my SAT's.

My school doesn't rank so the students don't get penalized.. because BC often chooses their students to look at based on their class rank.

So if you come from a school they're not familiar with and you rank high, then they'll probably at least look at you. But definitely try and raise your SAT's.. you want at least a 1900 to be considered.

Good luck!!

(and whatever you do.. DO NOT TAKE BIOLOGY OR CHEMISTRY SATII's... omg biggest mistakes of my life it was hell. thought id throw that out there)

i'd say that you're border line, but you can always try and get those SAT grades higher. Once the SAT scores are higher than 2000, you have a great chance of making it

I was accepted You all don't have to predict anymore. Thanks!!!

LOL, I guess BC can't turn down a "5.9192" GPA! Hope you'll join us here at Chestnut Hill.

Thanks!!!! Actually, I am DEFINITLY coming to BC!!!!!!! It was my 1st choice and I am soooooooo excited!!!! I am actually coming up there saturday and doing the admitted eagle day on sunday!!!!!! hope to see ya around.
