Mics:
I feel that my writing skills are strong and I am very confident in my essay.
My GPA will be over 90 by the mid year report.

I suggest posting this on the BC forum. scottj does a very good job analyzing BC chancers.

My personal assessment: 80% of BC admits are in the top 10% of their classes. Your 89.2 GPA (3.4ish) would most likely put you outside that. Your standardized tests are 75th%-tile or better. Your show commitment to your ECs as well as a consistency in your community service. The only “flaw” is a low GPA relative to your test scores; in general I’d say you have an average to above average chance.

The ExCurri are really good, especially that they are consistent. Your summer programs look good too. SAT is within the BC range, so I would say a 65-85% chance, depending on how many other people are applying and where you are from

IN, those things at stanford and berkeley are really good, colleges love to see those they hold as much weight as gpa and stuff, and especially since they were at such good schools, your test scores are great for BC and gpa is just fine. College credit looks good too.

I personally think you have really high chances of getting in assuming that your essay will be great like you said and that your recs represent the rest of your application. You show a lot of focus with the summer programs and your activities in general and I think your SATs and APs would be strong for BC too. Good luck.

Your test scores and extracurriculars are solid, and the summer programs you’ve attended are impressive. The only thing that may hurt you a bit is your GPA; however, I think if you do well this semester and write memorable essays, you will have a good shot. Best of luck!
