Boston College Chances!!!???

Wow, this is really early! You have a long time until colleges (: Just keep your grades up. Summer internships would be a good idea too.

Well, you seem to be a bit ahead of the curve as your already concerned with what college your going to ( which is a good thing). Keep those grades up, do well on the SAT and challenge yourself in courses and you should get in. Just don’t stress yourself!

Thanks!! That seems to be my biggest problem, haha

If you keep things up, I would say that you need a 2000+ on your SAT to get in.

Yeah, definitely a great chance…I’d say you are match/in.

I was at their Parent’s Weekend (parents best friends/neighbor have a son who goes there) this year along with Night at the Forum with the Boston Pops or something like that (Conte Forum)…it was a lot of fun, and then we went to the BC/Wake Forest game the next day. You’ll enjoy it, it’s a beautiful campus…not really for me though (very liberal arts-ee)

Boston College - IN

Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate that!

as long as you do well on your act/sat you should be find

is the 3.7 weighted? this is pointless because you havent even taken psat/sat yet.

it’s hard to say without SAT scores, but i’d say you definitely have a good shot

I think your SAT score will fall around the 1850-2050 range, which in that case makes you a very strong candidate. Good luck

Thanks everyone!!! Just curious…

Do well on the SATs and youre in i think. Also, work on your essay skills as people often underestimate how much they count. Id say a 2000 or over and youre in :)

good job! keep working hard, make sure to do well on SATs, subject tests and APs. and take the PSAT seriously! yeah it doesnt count for much but getting NMS recognition (national merit scholar) cant hurt!

With all those classes and activities, it sounds like you’re seriously on the right path.
Remember to take the APs and get good scores on them. And if you can, take prep classes for the SAT and/or ACT. Although, if you’re good at the SAT, then you can breeze through the ACT. (Start summer of sophomore year for this)
I like all your extracurriculars/community service activities. Don’t do too many though-stay consistent with a few or more that you’re really involved in. It helps if you get awards for your hard work-it proves you were there.
Hmmm…junior year summer, I would seriously get started on college apps and essays. Then you can apply early and quit worrying.

Overall-good reach.

you are almost in
just keep your gpa high and stress in your application essay how much you want to go there
good luck and all the best

I don’t know much about Boston college but i pretty much agree wityh everyone else- just keep your grades up nad do well on the sat and i think youll be in for sure =)
