Lehigh University has a very similar acceptance rate, with a slightly smaller amount of undergrad students
So anxious to receive the news next week! Just hope I don’t find out during school if it’s bad news!!! Ahhhhhh can’t wait any longer
Does anyone know or estimate the release date next week? I know last year it was December 19th
Certainly sooner than the 19th since last year they sent out decisions in the mail. Its supposed to be between the 14th-18th but not sure when during that time period
I asked them about a specific time today and they said they do not have one. So it can be anytime between the 14th and 18th.
I wonder if when you sent your application, alphabetical order, or whether your accepted or rejected has a factor on when your decision is mailed?!
@crowellk2016 what if whoever gets their decision letters first post the time they sent in their app, their last name, and their decision so that we know if there’s a particular order? that might make it more bearable for those who get their decision later in the week
Good idea^^ but just the first letter of their last name
@jackrabbit14 Yeah, that would be a smarter move uwu
I’ve been told to expect official decisions the 16th
Sounds like a plan guys! Will do and good luck to everyone!!! And i guess it would make sense to be the 16th since it’s the middle of the week
@southeastkid I hope you’re right! I don’t mean to be impolite but where did you get that information?
@gracein19 my schools counselor is good friends with an admissions officer at BC, and she basically told me that they used the date of the 16th in conversation. Definately informal and not an absolute, but that’s when I’ll be expecting my decision
Feeling so nervous now. All of my classmates who applies to Cornell and UPenn are either deferred or rejected. I am really afraid that will happen to me.
Well, the 17th is my AP Stats final and I have a 90.5 in that class. I guess I’ll be waiting for my letter instead of studying //distant sobbing sounds
Three classmates already got into Stanford. There’s probably more, since I only heard from the three of them, and this is making me nervous already
@Joshuali I have the same thing in my school! lots of deferrals from Stanford, Harvard and penn which isn’t too encouraging…
To be fair those schools are highly selective institutions with acceptance rates well below 15% so I wouldn’t be too concerned about deferrals from those places.
I’m freaking because so far my school has gotten a bunch of kids at cal poly and then 1 harvard, 2 duke, 1 stanford, and 1 barnard. No pressure.
Does anyone have any idea what time these will be sent out? Obviously they haven’t told us but is there a standard time notifications usually go out?
