Boston College Class of 2020 Regular Decision Thread

I just followed @BC_Admission. Some interesting info! It says that NO “heads up” tweets will be sent. They will tweet after emails go out. It also states that they do not track visits or use of demonstrated interest in the process! Lastly, All decisions will be released in a four hour window, outside of school hours by Friday.

Yes, this has been established for 48 hours, welcome.

HAHAHAHA @BromleyNE

Thursday is also st patrick’s day.

Someone before said BC has always tweeted “no emails” the day before decisions came out… so maybe tomorrow is still pretty probable?

I’m 90% sure it’s Thursday, someone I know knows someone in admissions and they said Thursday and someone else I know called admissions and they said most likely thursday

@BromleyNE No need to be rude.

@HeyItsNick just softening the mood in this stressful time.

Only thing stopping me is a 29 ACT… Hate how much standarized tests are worth in the admission’s process… Hope I get in, just got denied from Northeastern.

@steven4998 I agree… I’ve seen many poor students do very well on standardized tests and also the opposite

why can’t they release tomorrow!? surprisingly got into Northeastern but for NUin program

can they at least give us a specific date so we can be prepared before we face the reality…

I know right! I hate the unknown waiting time. At least with other colleges I’ve applied to I know exactly when decisions come out

Are we guessing Thursday or TOMORROW?

i guess thursday because some people said they actually asked the admission office :frowning:
but for twice in a row bc tweeted “there will be no decision released today” the day before actual decision came out.

Im guessing Thursday because I talked with an admissions officer yesterday

guys watch it be friday

@steven4998 honestly, admissions are so random. but i know people who have gotten into BC with that exact act score (my brother is one of them!) so you never know

@aquacrystal Thanks for the words of encouragement! Really hoping I get in!

grr i know financial aid office and the admission office work separately, but if the fa office asked for additional documents, does that mean anything…
