I know it’s from 6-10 but in that range do they release by geographic area? I can’t get much further in San Diego CAso will I hear closer to 10 EST?
Tbh I loved it as a kid but wasn’t really that into BC When I visited, It was a lower midrange school for me personally and was accepted early to top tier schools. I know BC is a really great school, call me a a**hole for feeling so bitter, but to get deferred from a school you thought was a sure thing and then to be waiting every day for six o’clock to roll around, I feel messed with. I feel used, I feel manipulated, I feel played. I understand there’s a lot going on right now probably, it’s not easy, but other schools commit to a date and stick to it. Other schools make it happen. I know I’m being so bitter right now but I’m completely frustrated and turned off from a school I once loved
I know. We all feel annoyed because we work so hard on our applications and just want to know. By now I am fine with being accepted or rejected, I just want to hear back so I can make a final decision.
@c0llegeb0und you were probably deferred because they didn’t think someone like you (someone who would most likely be accepting an offer from a higher ranking school) would go there. Happens all the time.
I totally get what you guys are saying. I haven’t been able to concentrate on anything this whole week (beyond normal senioritis) and I just need to know tonight so I don’t have another school day of worry.
I think it might be tonight because twitter is active; wouldn’t they post if they weren’t tonight?
Guys just watch Boston College in the NCAA tourney to pass time… oh wait
My son just got this email from his college counselor. Looks like tonight.
Boston College
Office of Undergraduate Admission
Dear Colleague,
I hope this e-mail finds you doing well and looking forward to spring. If you are receiving this update for the first time your e-mail address was most likely given to me by another member of the Boston College Admission staff. Periodically, I send an update to school counselors with important and timely information regarding Boston College. This e-mail pertains to Regular Decision, and I hope it assists you with counseling your students.
We will be notifying all applicants of their decision via e-mail this evening. Additionally, admitted students will be mailed an acceptance packet following the e-mail notification.
This year Boston College received 29,000 applications for 2,280 openings in the Class of 2020. We will offer admission to 8,900 candidates, or 31%, of the applicant pool. The mean composite SAT for admitted students is 2112. The mean composite ACT score is 32. We are deeply impressed with the classroom achievement, extracurricular involvement and personal qualities of the students who honored us with their applications this year. We consider ourselves fortunate to have attracted the attention of such talented young people.
On behalf of the Office of Undergraduate Admission, thank you for all you do to assist these students. We continue to enjoy working alongside such committed professionals. If any of your applicants need assistance, please encourage them to contact us. We hope that by partnering with you we might reduce any stress students and their parents face making a decision.
I will send another e-mail in May regarding the status of our waiting list. In the meantime, we wish your students much success as they weigh their college options.
Sincerely,
Kayte Hager
Assistant Director of Admission
Boston College

Somebody posted “tonight please?” but BC didn’t reply to it. If not tonight they could have said “no email today” since they don’t post anything about it before the decisions are actually released.
That’s what I’m thinking. And they probably would have posted if decisions weren’t coming out earlier than 20 minutes before they’re supposed to come out.
omg thank you for posting that!
Quick someone call up Kayte Hager from that email and ask
I’m sure she knows
They are out!!!
AHHHHHH
what???
The tweet has gone out! “Hey #BC2020: check your e-mail! Decisions are starting to go out! Over the next 4 hours, all will be sent. No specific order.”
Emails are being sent right now according to twitter.
Why must the window be so big!!! Is definatly random, right? Freaking out
They’re coming out over the next 4 hours
