I am trying to decide between these two fine schools. Struggling to find objective opinions as to whether there is a discernible difference in terms of academic superiority. Any thoughts/feedback appreciated. Also, does BC’s honors program make a difference in the analysis? Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

Both schools are academically very sound, and very reputable. CSOM has a higher ranking on paper. In fact, it has a higher ranking than Wharton and Harvard from some Undergrad Businss ranking list.

In reality, Georgetown can possibly open more doors ( especially Wall Street or NYC) for future career development. From a strictly academic point of view, CSOM might have a slight advantage.

Try to visit both schools and speak with the alumni.

^I realize that the Business Week rankings is popular within CSOM, but the world is more attuned to the rankings reflected by USNews. (Not that USNews has anything to do with it; they just reflect a more global view.)

Both schools are regional in nature. The ONLY advantage would be with local employers.

Attend whichever is cheapest, if you like both equally.
