@ale410 The email with the portal info has “Thank you for your Boston College application” in the subject line. Check your spam or deleted emails.
EA applicant here. how do we know the results will be released exactly on 12/14? I saw the portal said for those who wish to enroll in Fall season it would be the 12/25.
I’m almost positive it is December 14th, Boston College admissions sent emails about it so I think it’s safe to say that it will be emailed then unless they change it @Vronsky the December 25th date is what they anticipated from before apps were even in but the new date was after they received all of the apps
Accepted for the Class of 2022?
.
Where is everyone applying from? I am from Houston, Texas applying EA to the Carroll School of Management
I can confirm with 100% certainty that the decisions will be released this Thursday after the school day has concluded. BC takes into account that many students will be taking final exams this week and would like to limit the stress of this process by sending them out after 5 PM.
Looking forward to hearing asap. No worries about stress during finals here
2 more days!
Is BC actually “need blind”? and does it help you to get in if you can pay full tuition?
Does anyone know exactly what time we will hear back from BC? And is it for sure on the 14th?
it’s definitely on Thursday, and judging by past threads it will probably by after 5pm EST
LMAO when you still have finals next week…
Last year my daughter got her acceptance at 6:22 PM.
Decisions will definitely be released Thursday. BC admissions tweeted this a few hours ago:
“Acceptance letters are being signed! Early Action applicants: admission decisions will be e-mailed on Thursday evening!”
@lrose00 “Acceptance letters are being signed,” that just increased my stress levels so much. Good luck to everyone!
yeah I was a bit confused about when they would release too. Why does it say that we would receive decisions Dec 14, but then in the portal it says that they are emailing EA notifications on Dec 14 for the january term?
Also, being stupid, I didn’t realize that EA for BC was more selective than it is RD, so I’m highly regretting applying early and am just hoping for a deferral at this point. I have a lot ACT score (31) and a 4.27 weighted GPA. I’ve taken 9 APs, been on 2 varsity sports and captain of 2 years on one, and have done many activities outside of school related to Comp Sci. Hopefully my low standardized test scores aren’t what sinks my app
AHHHH the anticipation…
I applied EA and got an email from BC saying that decisions get emailed out on Thursday the 14th. After that, official things will be apparently sent in the mail as a follow up.
@senioritisfr the average ACT range is a 30-33, so I think you should be fine. Sounds like you have good extracurriculars too. Good luck!
