Boston College Early Decision 2

Wait is an ED applicant allowed to withdraw? And am I allowed as an ED applicant to email admissions counselor at BC to move me to RD? I thought given the binding contract I can’t

Yes, of course you can. It’s only binding once you have been admitted, and you have not yet been admitted.

If you really want to pull yourself from consideration, I would call them and ask, but do it quickly. If you got into UT with those stats (are you OOS?) you must have some great hook that these schools are digging, so I wouldn’t assume BC will say no.

Not buying Barakobama’s thread. Claims to have applied ED to at least 3 schools. Since it’s binding, you can’t do that.

yes, I’m pretty sure you can pull your application or change to regular decision. It’s only biding if they accept u. Contact admissions ASAP

Do we know what time? Or what time it normally is?

It was 3:30 PST time for ED 1, it’s probably going to be around the same time for ED2

Good luck to all. I have a 1490 SAT and 3.9 weighted gpa. Hope that’s good enuf

could you post on here your decision because I’m curious how much weight test scores have this year. My scores were really high and I’m not really getting in

I already know I got rejected lol cuz they didn’t ask for my financial aid documents; my parents forgot to submit it until a couple days ago

i don’t think that means anything because i think they do fin aid after admission (but it could be a possibility)

if this is true… rip

well, i mean has anyone heard anything from financial aid? the only thing for me was a text message saying some docs were missing (which was wrong) and they figured that out and they emailed me saying it was a mistake.

Do you have the check your financial aid status on the portal?

I can check my document status by going through my applicant portal. I have no more required docs needed but I do have some alerts on my financial aid portal but I think everyone has that.

according to the boston college videos i watched on their website, they review your application first and then they send it to fin aid (i guess if you’re accepted…?) because the financial aid and the admissions are two separate departments. Thats just what i saw from admissions counselors tho could or could not be the case
