Boston college fun?

I was wondering whether or not BC is actually fun without Greek life. I like to party, but not every weekend. But I want to have the option to go to a “typical college party”. If you go to BC, tell me what a normal weekend is like. Thanks!

This is the third time you’ve asked this same question.

When you ask if BC is fun, what kind of answer are you looking for?

Most fun activity at BC:

Transferring to schools actually in Boston

^^cute, but the fact is that ~half of BC’s campus is inside the Boston City limits!

Don’t they teach geography at NEU?

Given that you keep asking the same question, you might check Playboy’s top party school rankings that just came out. You can tell your parents you’re reading it for the articles. Since many private schools will cost in excess of $250k over the four years you’ll be in college, you might want to keep that number in the back of your mind. Your parents may have it at the front of theirs.

Just because there are no frats does not mean that everyone stays in on the weekends. While it can be hard to find parties, especially as a freshman boy, it is possible and everyone does it. I am a freshman and I have been to multiple parties so far. I also have spent weekends not drinking at all and going into the city or just “casually” drinking with my group of my friends in my room. If you are friends with upperclassmen from class or clubs, you can be invited to parties in those dorms or in the Mods. You can also go off campus for parties. I have been to off campus parties near BC and I have attended frat parties at MIT.
