Boston college neuroscience

I’m a senior in high school and am trying to decide between UIUC, Ohio State, and BC. UIUC is cheapest cuz I’m an Illinois resident and BC is second cheapest. I really want to live in a city out of state so UIUC is kinda unappealing and at Ohio State I would be in honors which is also nice, but I do love BC. How good is BC neuroscience, especially since it’s a new major? Would I get more research opportunities because it is new? I’m also thinking of doing pre-med at all places but I’ve already heard that pre-med at BC is pretty good so I’m not as concerned with that. Thank you for any advice!

Any of the three would be excellent for premed. One advantage of BC is that the Boston environs have a lot of bio-tech companies so internships and research opportunities are plentiful – IN NORMAL TIMES. (sorry for the caps, but no one has any idea of what will happen in the next year or two while a vaccine is being developed.)

BC’s Neuro BS is new, but they’ve had a Neuro track for awhile. The new major requirements are solid.

If you can afford BC, a Jesuit education is awesome.
