I just thought I would try this once, I guess. I mean, it couldn't hurt :) . So this fall I'm planning to apply to Northwestern, UChicago, BC, Wellesley, Georgetown, NYU, Vassar, and my reaches are Harvard, Columbia, and Princeton.

I have a 2210 on my SATs (though I might retake them in October) - 800 in Reading, 710 in Writing, and 700 in Math. I got a 720 on Math II, 690 in French, and 660 in Literature for SAT IIs. I got a 5 on my APUSH, AP Euro, and AP Language tests, and I'm taking AP Psych, AP English, AP French, and AP Calc BC next year. I've had straight As in AP and honors classes in high school, with a 4.5 GPA and I'm in the top 10% in my class.

I'm part of NHS, NEHS, French Honors Society, Social Studies Honor Society, French Club, I've written for my school's literary magazine and was briefly editor for my school's International magazine. I'm in Model UN, and my school's Youth Secretariat. I've volunteered with our school's theater department, the local library, my old elementary school, and worked as a counselor at my teacher's Physics camp this year. I also fence both foil and epee.

I'm interested in so many different areas, so I plan to go into college undecided. I like English Literature, and Shakespeare. I love International Relations and Middle Eastern Affairs, I love theater and playwriting, and even Neuroscience and Cognitive Psychology.

I like to read, and write, especially. I play piano, and just spend my time trying to learn a lot about a lot. I have been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit (thanks to my mother's job). I have had my share of personal tragedies that I'm sure I could use in my college essays (mother's cancer diagnosis, my own hospitalization, etc.)

So yeah, I hope this is sufficient information? Any opinion would be lovely.
