I was just wondering if anyone had any information about Boston College's political science program. In particular, I was wondering about its strength and reputation.

Strengths:
* Political Philosophy
* American Government
* Human Rights/International Justice
* Comparative/International Politics
* Star faculty (all teach & advise undergrads): Donald Hafner, Marc Landy, Kay Schlozman, Alan Wolfe ...

Reputation:
Vey solid. Good study abroad opps. And many double majors or minors with area studies (Middle East, Latin America, etc). Poli Sci friends of mine who have graduated are now in reputable grad programs (Chicago, Columbia, Wisconsin, specifically). Another thing worth noting: BC's political science dept is not ideologically driven at all.

I'm in the thick of it though, so try getting opinions from other sources. Hope this helps, PM me if you want any more info.
