A 530 in CR is going to be tough to overcome, even with your rank and higher math scores. How competitive is your high school? Did you have the chance to take more than 3 AP classes? I think BC is a reach and Holy Cross is more of a match, but your essay sounds like it could help you out a lot if it shines.

Thanks a lot CollegeGrad! Any chance you could read my essay? You seem really experienced! Haha

Any other takers? ;)

I’m not the best at standardized testing:(

rawrrrrrrrrrrr please! help!

Looking at the Holy Cross data set, your SATs are pretty average for them, but CR will hurt. Then again, you have a nice GPA, and your essay at least sounds delightful.

I would say match for Holy Cross, low reach maybe for BC.

Any way you could take a look at my essay?

Sure! PM, I guess?
