I am a senior and Boston College is my first choice. I like the location, campus, and overall vibe of the school. My biggest concern though is the daily life of a Boston College student. Do most spend the entire week studying and doing work? Is it possible to go out during the week, or is the course load especially difficult (preferably for a political science or int'l relations/studies major)? Are the weekends fun? What's the typical nightlife like over the weekend? I suppose my biggest concern is that I'm looking for a "work hard, play hard" school and I feel that BC students might overlook the "play hard" mentality. Also, I forgot to mention I am a male. Is it still possible to have a great time freshman year? What do most freshman guys do during the week/over the weekend? I'm certianly into the drinking and party scene, are most students this way as well?

This is not the best place to ask a question about Boston College because this is international subforum for Nepal. Even if somebody answers, that will not be helpful, unless s/he is from boston college her/himself!
So, I suggest you to put your queries here:

There are plenty of posts on BC social life…look them up. Lots of playing hard!
