**Boston College Transfer Fall 2016 Thread**

@caitlynn09 I did not get an email with my agora login info. Called the admissions office and they emailed me the direct link and I was able to set it up. They didn’t say anything about why I didn’t get it, but it was easy to set it up that way. Hope this helps!

@caitlynn09 I haven’t either. I’ll call admissions tomorrow too!

Where is everyone all transferring from? I’m at NYU now and really hope to get into BC. I got in the first time but did not go. I regret now haha

@Molly1232 @midp3259 I called them and they set me up with the agora profile!

@kua820 transferring from another school in Boston! Transferring into 2016 for Sophomore year

has anyone heard anything yet?

@caitlynn09 I called, said they had everything, but they didn’t set me up with a portal

called and they gave me the password and username. However I could not log in with the information they gave me and now my account in locked. Guess i need to call the tech people today.

@kua820 I am transferring from a community college in Southern California

@Molly1232 that’s weird. Maybe it’s because we don’t really need the portal if we know everything is there but you would need it eventually to accept an offer of admission.

@caitlynn09 @Molly1232 did you try calling the transfer office? They emailed me mine and it did not work the first time. After a few back and forth emails with a counselor it worked. Im not sure why theres all these problems because you need the agora to check your status and for financial aid and admission decisions!

@midp3259 Admission decisions are sent via email in a pdf file

@hopefultransferstudnt7996 Sorry, I know that and did not mean to say that. Just trying to point out the fact that the portal is important and they should get it straightened out like I did! :slight_smile:

@midp3259 I got mine set up thanks! Anyone know when admissions decisions will be sent?

I’m a business student from Loyola University Maryland. Applying to the CSM at BC.
Overall GPA is a 3.45 but I have a 3.9 in classes related to business so I am hoping that has more weight given that I am applying to the business school. I hold an officer position in a club, play for an athletic club, had an internship last summer, and received nominations for leadership conferences at Loyola. SAT was an 1880 and my high school GPA was a 3.3 at a very competitive academy.

So, anyone have any idea of my odds?
Also, good luck to everyone that has applied, hope to see you all at the Heights come this fall!

@Molly1232 my BC admissions counselor said end of May (by May 31st)

Hi guys! I’m a freshman business student at University of South Carolina, hoping to transfer into the CSM at BC in the fall.

I had a 3.7 in high school and a 1970 SAT. I had a 4.0 last semester and likely will finish this semester with a 4.0 as well. Originally from MA and hoping to go back, I think going to school in Boston would be so much fun:) Anyways, does anyone have any idea when we might hear back? I’m dying to know!! Goodluck to you all :slight_smile:

@BrianTW your GPAs in college and HS are a little low but it’s good that you did well in business classes. Your extracurriculars sound really good too!

@ocrowley the stats sound good! How good do you think your recommendations and extracurriculars are?

And I think by May 31st.

Last year decisions were emailed like May 15th ish

@caitlynn09 recommendations solid extracurriculars decent
