Boston College vs UCSB

Hi everyone, its almost may 1st and I’m having a very hard time choosing a college. I’m leaning towards UCSB because I’m in state and got no financial aid at Boston College. I also want to mention that I got into NYU, Trinity College, William and Mary, and George Washington.

I’m looking for pros and cons of each. My main concern is a good experience that will boost my chances for law school (GPA).

Thanks in advance!

top law schools only requires A’s, and a bunch of them, and a 17x on the LSAT. A “good experience” is only important to Yale and Stanford.

BC is an awesome collegiate experience, but whether its worth nearly 2x the price of UCSB is up to you and your family. It will matter not for law school. The other schools won’t help LS admissions either.

hey! I’m trying to make pretty much the exact same choice right now. I was waitlisted everywhere except BC and UCSB and i was heavily leaning towards UCSB until now. I haven’t even visited BC, and I don’t know how much financial aid I’d be receiving from them yet, so i guess that’s what i’m waiting on before i can make a decision. i don’t have any advice except to let you know you’re not alone! good luck
