Boston College vs. UNC-Chapel Hill

Hi everyone, I'm a student from Honduras looking for the best education in business. I'm interested in Management, Finance, or Marketing. What college (UNC or BC) do you think will prepare me better to succeed in business? Regarding college life, which one would you choose? In college, I am looking forward to grow as a person, meet lots of people, and make contacts for the future. Thank you very much in advance!

Both are different environments and areas of the country. BC might have a more “cosmopolitan” setting as it is a few miles from Boston. You will also find a larger latino student population as BC is a Catholic University and Boston is more diverse than Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill, is a very nice liberal college town. The students are pretty open and seem genuinely happy. The weather in North Carolina will be closer to Honduras than BC haha. Thats for sure! College sports are big at UNC but like Wisconsin, the school manages to keep a great academic focus.

Its a tough choice, it really depends upon what kind of experience you want. As US college town experience or living near a MAJOR U.S. city. I think they are pretty even academically, but UNC dominates on the graduate level and have a stellar faculty.

Whichever one is cheaper. They’re both good.

I agree with Endicott!
