I am seriously considering these two and was wondering if I can receive a compare/contrast of the two

One sucks, one doesn’t.

Actually, jk. But seriously. BC is way superior to Nova academically. I visited both, and found BC more visually appealing…BIG TIME. BC is in a great area…can’t say the same for Nova.

Oh, and…Boston vs. Outsideinacraptownby Philly.

You do the math. Yeah, I’m biased.

^ was BC really more visually appealing? Haha, landscape kind of means a lot to me =p in a weird way. Cause I neeeeeed a grassy beautiful campus. I visited Villanova and I thought it was really pretty. BC is better?

I LOVE BC’s campus. LOVE LOVE LOVE. It’s beautifully kept, the buildings are gorgeous, and I have a weird love for all the hills. As annoying as they might be to go up and down every day, they offer some really pretty views. And, my mom pointed out at one point, the cleanliness and upkeep says a lot about how the students respect the school, and how the school pays attention to details and creating a great environment for the students.

Academically, I feel that they are pretty equal with BC having a slight edge. I visited both, and BC is higher on my list of schools than Villanova. BC, in my opinion, was prettier than Villanova as well. So, I guess what I’m saying is that BC is better than Villanova in my opinion, and that’s saying something cuz I’m from just outside of Philly & root for Villanova basketball every year, so I have a bias in favor of Villanova.

I visited both and they are VERY similar. I only wanted to apply to one of them because I felt like if I applied to both…I would be applying to the same college twice. Although I did choose to apply to BC because its slightly better academically, closer to the city of Boston and seemed bigger. good luck! maybe you can visit each one

Do you know what they call Villanova??? Villa No Fun - enuf said - decision made.

Same here! I love both of them and I know BC has an edge over Villanova academically, but I’m doing nursing and the Villanova nursing school is so amazing. Their facilities, faculty, programs, everything. But besides the nursing program, which they’re about even in, BC is better. Which should I choose?!

We have visited both schools. I think that they are similar, but I think academically, BC is ranked higher than Villanova. I’m not sure about the nursing program at BC, but the nursing program at Villanova is top notch. As far as the Villa no fun, I really don’t think that is true. I know plenty of my friends kids that LOVE Villanova. If you get into both, I would suggest you do an overnighter at each school. It really comes down to where YOU feel that you will be happiest. Good luck.

^ agreed. Villanova could be villa-no-fun OR villa-SO-fun! hehehe
